To Begin Again

Thanks for joining me!

My name is Catrell and welcome to my 200+lbs life. What you should know is that I’ve struggle with my weight since I was a child. Yes, there were moments of hour glass shaping, outfits that turned heads and compliments, but I have always ended up where I am today, overweight and in poor health!

I will not go into details, but I will say that enough is enough and it is time for serious change. My goal for the remainder of 2019 and 2020 is better health, mental self-care, and weight-loss starting today. My mantra is, “One Day or Day One”.

As I begin this journey, I encourage you to elevate yourself by participating. I look forward to YOU! Remember “One Should Eat to Live, not Live to Eat”.

We are heading into a new year and I am still fighting to get out of the 200’s. You would think that this would be easy since I did it before, but change changes everything.

I relocated because I got a higher paying job and I wanted to be where my younger son was. So I came back home, but being here reminded me of why I left. There are great parts to this midsize town, but I miss the modern look of the city. I miss my friends, my gym and my art classes.

It has taken me over a year to adjust to returning home and I am finally finding the energy to put forth an effort to attempt my goals. So here I go again because I refuse to fail. As I enter into 2020, I will commit to a positive lifestyle change. I will reach my goal of 140 lbs by changing my eating habits, and I will find my happiness. I am keeping my mantra, “One Day or Day One”. I am going to keep on this path with a different mindset. I hope you will continue on this journey because quitting is not an option.
